Chapter 1002: Chapter 1001 Concealment Chapter 1002: Chapter 1001 Concealment She set down the big bag of stuff and extended her empty right hand towards Jiang Yang. Her fingers were fair and slender, with nails glistening with a healthy luster adorned with half-moon suns. Nan Fei then turned her palm face up.
She spread open her palm and slowly clenched her fingers, making a fist.
“Did you see that? Sister has now grasped destiny in her own hands. This is my destiny, and now my heart is strong enough that it will never be broken again, so Sister is very strong.”
Nan Fei smiled, casting aside her worries, and said with a spirited look, “You have to believe in Sister, and you have to believe in yourself as well.”
Jiang Yang bit his lip and finally shook his head.
Nan Fei was startled, “What’s wrong? Don’t you believe in Sister?”
“It’s not that,” Jiang Yang said seriously, like an adult, “I don’t want Sister’s protection, I can protect Sister.”
Afraid Nan Fei wouldn’t believe him, he nodded firmly, “You have to believe me, I can definitely do it.”
Jiang Yang was willing to talk so much with her, Nan Fei was too happy to be concerned! She would only encourage him, never expressing doubt. So she nodded with a smile, encouragingly, “Good, then little brother, you must protect me well, okay?”
“Okay!” Finally, Jiang Yang let go of Nan Fei’s hand, giving her a soft smile. Puffing out his little chest, he said proudly, “Sister, I’m doing very well in school now, the teacher said I will surely become a great scientist one day.”
Every teacher praises their students this way, and most people dream of being a scientist when they grow up. So Nan Fei didn’t take it to heart. For her, her brother’s health and happiness were what mattered most.
So she nodded in appreciation, but the little flame in Jiang Yang’s eyes slowly diminished.
He clenched his fists tightly, knowing in his heart that Sister did not believe he could become a scientist.
“Sister, where are you going?” he asked, looking at the packages on the ground.
“I’m going to see your second sister. She came to Imperial City for school and I haven’t visited her yet. I have some time now, so I thought I’d go see her.”
Jiang Yang watched the packages with a blank stare, a struggle flickering across his delicate face, before finally waving to Nan Fei.
“Goodbye, Sister!”
“Goodbye.”
Nan Fei watched Jiang go into school before she withdrew her gaze. Why did she always feel that what Jiang had just said to her wasn’t what he initially had in mind?
But Jiang had always been close to her since he was young, with a pure heart, and in the past, when he wouldn’t say anything, she could only guess. Even so, she was able to guess his thoughts to a large extent, so why did she now feel that he was inscrutable?
Nan Fei found it incredible. Because there was really no need for Jiang to deliberately hide anything, and there was no need for him to hide anything from her!
She stood there, pondering from left to right, unable to figure it out. In the end, she simply set down her jumbled thoughts for the time being.

Zhuanzhuan’s school was Seventh Middle School, which ranked within the top three middle schools in Imperial City. Everyone who got into the school had outstanding grades. On the rare occasion that there was a student with poor grades, it was because they had a powerful family background, allowing for their exceptional admission.
These students might not have great academic records, but their social skills were high, and despite their young age, each one was an old soul.
Such a school, which gathered those with high IQs and EQs, surprisingly had a very positive atmosphere. There were never any classroom arguments, or brawls and mischief.
