It was a subtle jab, a reminder that Nigel’s bullying of the Wagner siblings stemmed from their perceived isolation.

Nigel froze, caught off guard, the meaning of her words sinking in.

Before he could respond, someone from the crowd spoke up.

“Wait… isn’t she the author of Sunshine? Bettina?” Ava Harper, Rainie’s classmate and friend, stood a little apart from the group.

She had secretly called Dilan to the school today.

“Yes, Rosalynn is Bettina”, the famous writer, Rainie confirmed, nodding.

Ava, always closest to Rainie, knew more than most.

She had learned about Rainie’s eldest brother’s death and how a close friend of the family-none other than the CEO’s wife of the Hughes Group-was helping raise Dilan and Rainie.

The fact that this esteemed woman was also the famous writer Bettina had only added to the admiration.

Ava recognized Rosalynn instantly, having seen photos of her before, and couldn’t resist revealing her identity.

As soon as the words left her mouth, the whispers rippled through the students.

The TV series based on Sunshine was about to air.

Among the crowd, many of the girls were avid fans of Rosalynn’s novels.

As the realization hit, excitement crackled in the air.

Within moments, a few girls couldn’t help themselves, closing in on Rosalynn, eager for a closer look.

“Bettina, I’m such a huge fan! Could you sign an autograph for me?” one of them asked enthusiastically.

“Me too!” another chimed in. “I’ve read Sunshine three times already!”

“Bettina, could you also sign an autograph for me?”

Rosalynn hadn’t expected to encounter fans during her visit.

The surge of attention hit her unexpectedly, but a deep sense of accomplishment bloomed inside her.

“Please wait a moment” she said gently, raising a hand to quiet them.

“Let me handle this situation first, and then I’ll be happy to sign autographs, alright?”

Her features were striking, and her gentle voice made her even more approachable.

The girls nodded eagerly, hopeful that the issue would be resolved quickly.
