Bryson smiled, his confidence resolute. “Regardless of how cunning he may be, his future depends on us. If he doesn’t engage sincerely, the Morrison family will face serious repercussions.”
After a comprehensive series of technical audits and security evaluations, the authenticity of the Phoenix Plan data was confirmed. The atmosphere in the conference room shifted to one of growing enthusiasm. Once the Phoenix Plan was Launched, the alliance between the two families would undoubtedly propel the project to new heights.
“Mr. Mitchell, I truly believe our collaboration will be a win-win situation,”
Omar said, his eagerness evident in his tone.
“Mr. Morrison, I have one condition.” Bryson suddenly shifted the conversation, his gaze steady and unwavering as he focused on Omar, calm yet resolute. “The Mitchell Group is committed to fully participating in the Phoenix Plan. However, to ensure fairness and transparency in our collaboration, we require the complete cooperation of you and the Morrison family. ALL decisions must be jointly discussed by both parties.”
This was undoubtedly a firm condition. Omar’s expression shifted momentarily, a flicker of surprise crossing his face before he quickly regained his composure.
He understood that accepting these terms was his only viable option.
“I agree. As long as we can advance the Phoenix Plan smoothly, the Morrison family is prepared to agree to any reasonable terms!”
Outside the conference room, employees murmured to one another, captivated by the unexpected alliance forming between Bryson and the Morrison family.
“Wow, Mr. Mitchell is on a roll! With the Morrison family backing him, who could possibly challenge the Mitchell Group’s dominance in the new energy market?”
“The shift is incredible! Just a few days ago, they were at each other’s throats, and now they’re shaking hands in a show of unity.”
“Mr. Mitchell’s skills are truly impressive-gotta hand it to him!”
As the crowd buzzed with excitement, Hannah and Bryson walked out of the conference room, their expressions a mix of determination and relief. Once the shareholders and directors had cleared the room, Omar emerged slowly, taking a moment to gather his thoughts before rejoining the lively atmosphere outside.
Omar sighed and shook his head. “Initially, I aimed to outsmart you, but in the end, I was the one outmaneuvered. Now I see what they mean by ‘the more friends you have, the more opportunities you create.
Hannah, however, remained skeptical of Omar. “Mr. Morrison, cooperation is one thing, but we have no interest in being friends.”
Omar was momentarily taken aback. “Miss Moore, your words are always so sharp!”
Hannah forced a smile, her gaze dropping to the ground. “Take care, then. I won’t be seeing you off.”
Omar’s lips curled slightly. “Alright, I’ll go now. I won’t intrude any Longer.”
After he left, Bryson turned to Hannah. “Once the news about the partnership breaks, we need to shift our focus back to our own priorities, don’t you think?”
Hannah blinked at him, curiosity in her eyes. “What matters are we talking about?”
Bryson smiled at her, a mix of exasperation and affection. “What, playing dumb again? Let’s set the wedding date for next month. We can have Grandpa and your grandfather choose a good day.”
Hannah couldn’t help but Laugh. “Alright, I’m in!”
The day after the partnership news was released, Hannah’s phone rang-
Maloney’s name flashing on the screen.
