“What happened?” she asked.

Maloney chuckled on the other end of the line. “It was a bad bet. It turns out that Omar, who seemed calculating, is actually a coward. He decided to partner with the Mitchell family. Relieved to hear that Peterson was no longer a threat, Hannah asked, “What about my father?”
